The airsoft tommy gun is a toy and not a real gun. The gun has an air propulsion system that allows the gun to shoot light weight plastic BB bullets accurately. There are many different names for each of the guns, depending on what type of BB pellet and weight they are and distance they shoot.

There is also yet another type of airsoft tommy gun that employs the Spin-up (or Hop-up) system. This works by when the airgun is fired, friction is applied to the upper side of the BB pellet which causes it to spin. The system allows the BB pellet to travel at a farther distance. Someone older like my husband and son enjoy this style. This challenges their skills.

You’ll want to fully charge the airsoft battery’s for the full 4hrs. the manufacturer will require and no longer. Overcharging your battery could ruin your battery.

Some things I’d like you to be aware of are to always supervise your children and make sure they know that you don’t shoot at eachother or near the face and eyes. They have protective eyewear available. The airsoft tommy gun is an exact replica of the real Tommy gun used for FBI and in World War 2 for this reason the gun is sold to you with and orange tip. It is illegal to remove this orange tip on the airsoft tommy gun or it will void your warranty.

My husband is a hunter and our children have admired his ability in shooting his bow but never really got into shooting it. When they hit the target with one of these soft air guns they feel so good and get so excited about accomplishing what they aimed for.

This is a great gift for a boy or girl. My girls at first were a little hesitant and then saw how much fun it was. It’s not only the kids enjoying this great outdoor activity it’s getting all of us involved together.
My son first purchased a pistol and then tried the airsoft tommy gun and thought it was great. Our cousins also received 2 airsoft tommy gun rifles for Christmas and they had a great all time together.
